Personal Interests
"I have been married to my husband, Ken, for nearly 14 years.  We have a beautiful, intelligent 7 year-old, Mekenzie.  As a family we enjoy the outdoors - going for bike rides, camping, kayaking etc. Before we moved back to Ohio in 2003, we lived in Minnesota for eight years.  The land of 10,000 lakes...perfect for the kayaking enthusiast.  We loved to take weekend trips to Voyaguers National Park, where we would kayak to different islands and set up camp each night.  One year we kayaked over 21 miles!

We are the leaders of our youth group (Canton Temple of Praise) where we plan and go on a lot of trips.  It keeps us young.  In fact, my nickname from some of the youth is 'Youngsta.'  I claim to be 25 years old, and will continue to hold on to that for as long as I can. I am also involved in our choir and am in charge of 'Broken' - our sign language performing arts ministry."

Other interests: cooking, baking, scrapbooking, trying to keep up with the youth on facebook & myspace, playing board games with friends and family
