Project Description
A study was conducted for the Alliance YMCA to update their facilities and provide a leasable area for a local child care agency. It was concluded that there was a need for interior renovations and an entrance addition. The renovation will provide more functional, open and usable space for the YMCA along with updated electrical and mechanical systems to save energy.
Pool area (previously abandoned) will be remodeled to create an open 2 story wellness area with a balcony, aerobics studio and the introduction of natural daylight
Lobby will be expanded and opened to provide a lounge, waiting area, and circulation desk
New separate entries developed for the YMCA and the Child Care facilities to provide safety and security
Overall, the project will provide both the YMCA (15,832 sf) and the Child Care (11,972 sf) facilities with updated spaces that satisfy the needs and trends of the fitness & child care markets
