Project Description
After receiving funds from the NPS “Save America’s Treasures” grant program, a plan was developed to determine the structural and exterior envelope building repairs needed for restoration of this historic farm complex. Concepts were created for the interior renovations in order to maintain the historic character of the existing buildings and farm complex.
In order to achieve the goals of the project, the proper materials and methods were identified to restore the buildings to meet the National Park Service historic preservation guidelines.
An analysis of all requirements was conducted in order to achieve handicap accessibility to all of the historic buildings located on the farm complex.
