Project Description
Harris/Day reviewed the OSFC masterplan assessment for the District and identified omissions from the facility assessment and masterplan projections. All the District personnel were involved in the development of the educational specifications for the addition and renovation which included a “classroom swing space” to accommodate future adult education needs which were unfunded.
In order to raise awareness and funds for this project, Harris/Day developed bond issue promotional flyers and project data sheets to pass out to the community.
In order to reduce future costs and environmental effects, LEED Silver standards were incorporated into the 200,000 sf building design features and energy efficient mechanical/electrical systems.
