It, The SōL Experience is our formalized process of gaining relevant input at the needs assessment phase of any project. This procedure explores the type of people who will use the proposed building and the activities those people will engage in.
It may sound fundamental because, well, it is. Spaces should be built to satisfy the human experience. That's what "good architecture" is really all about. But it is incredible to us, how often these "human essentials", more often than not, get left behind in the process.
It is about more than just constructing a "container."
It is about designing and creating a "holistic environment" that inspires people to aspire to their best in everything they do, whether it's working, learning, playing or relaxing.
It is about building buildings that add to the human capital of a community.
It is about buildings people are naturally proud of having on their campus, or in their town, or in their city
